Heavy Duty Compensating Cup

 There is a contruction mounted on the crankshaft of Big Twin engines which has to absorb the  shocks of the drivetrain. 

On the models till 1984 Harley Davidson has mounted a cup in this so called “compensator” which determines the tension.  This cup wears out pretty fast and in case of this the shocks won't be absorbed anymore.

When the cup begins to wear out you can feel the vibrations and when it’s worn out more and more you will here a knocking sound like the sound of a worn out bearing crankshaft.

 HD Hutten Motorcycles has a Heavy Duty cup in the program which is made of high-quality material and through this it becomes much more longwearing than the OEM cup.

 These cups are availeble in two types:

Cup type O for standard Big Twins and cup type C for performance Big Twins.

Both will cost € 45,- a piece.
